Should they be trying to avoid the 2am calls when possible? Absolutely! Arguing a safety/fatigue angle is a fool's errand though.
I would lol if after accepting a 2am QS call, pilot calls in fatigued at report time and blames the 2am call! Someone should press to test that one!

More importantly, cleaning out the carb on my HD has her purring like a kitten. Ok, a slightly demented off kilter kitten, as is proper for a HD.
