Once was when the Captain had his wife with him and they did their own thing, and the other was a very well known insufferable-type FO who got ditched a lot.
Makes me wonder if HK’s case was a post-Covid hire who got super lucky and went straight to a WB, and so doesn’t have the cultural norms as engrained? 🤷♂️
This is kind of why I don't want to fly a WB here. The peer pressure to hangout on overnights seems like a lot. And if one declines, it seems like you all gang up and think said pilot is a weirdo.
