I rarely carry cash, only for work tips. Apple pay for 99% of my transactions. Call it mental gymnastics if you like but it's out dated. I don't mind them earning more just put it in the price of the service. I still do it because it's the norm, I just think it shouldn't be. Nobody deserves $2.45 for an hourly wage. Van drivers don't even help with bags anymore and make an hourly wage way above the real servers. The employer needs to make up the difference and charge appropriately for the service. Call me cheap, it make no difference. I never claimed to make bank unless talking in general about the profession. (we all do very well) I claim to be efficient, minimal work for maximum pay, there's a huuuge difference.
