My apologies for coming off harsh. However, before you speculate on the mindset of the ASA people just take a second and ask yourself "do I really know how it is over there and all of the facts?" To be perfectly honest with you ASA in comparison to most regionals seems to be quite comfortable with their position in the industry. With that being said, no one is worrying about being on the chopping block because of what anyone else is going through. Out of the close to 2000 pilots I haven't really heard one person express their concern about being next to go. We all know anything is possible. I have asked many of the captains I fly with what their take is on ASA's place when it comes to Delta pulling the plug and most guys are pretty confident because at ASA among all of the rookies there are still quite a few senior pilots that have been around for 25+ years and seen the really bad times. They base it on the ASA has never furloughed a pilot nor has the company ever reported a loss. Im sure all this comes across as the "my regional is better than yours!" Im just sort of clarifying and or correcting some of the speculation. In all seriousness does anyone know how many flights Pinnacle operated out of ATL?
19 departures per day from ATL...
