We’ve experienced - what? Gas PRICES went up $1.55 a gallon?

But no real shortages, no rationing, not even the long lines and odd-even fill up days that US implemented during the Arab oil embargo’s of the 70s when gas prices QUADRUPLED.

Have we really become such a nation of wimps? That a 52% increase in gas prices for a few months is going to bring us to our knees? That’s 52% of the average 3-4% of their income American families spend on gasoline?
To stop apocalyptic religious lunatics from getting a nuke?
Botched. That unhappy result rarely offers cover. Nor should it. Tradecraft and surveillance are/were adequate vis-à-vis Iran’s warhead program. Regime change uprisings forecast in the wake of the Ayatollah hit never materialized of course. Childishly amateur speculation runaway there. Severity of fallout ahead is the primary focus now. We already won? I haven’t forgotten waiting for 5 gallons in those rationing lines fwiw. But that was many strokes ago. Give meto a break somebody
