You were claiming that the US’s lower lifespan was due to guns and violence, not because we as a nation are less healthy. If what you are claiming is true, the US would have a significantly greater lifespan difference between men and women since accidents/deaths due to violence disproportionality affect men. That is not the case. The mortality gender gap in the US is the same as Japan. This means something else must be causing our overall lower life expectancy. It’s our unhealthy lifestyle.
