What do you mean why did I protect bin Laden? I’ve been here since 1992, end of 2nd grade.
But if you want to have an honest conversation about Pakistan v India, sure. My parents went through 2 wars. We left in ‘92. After the last war in 98 both countries announced nuke weapons. Now amazingly, no more wars. Sure, there’s been skirmishes. But what my parents had to go though, future generations have not. The nuclear arms gives them a long term stalemate. Probably the best outcome for the Indian Subcon. 3 wars from 1947-1998. Since going nuclear, no major wars. Skirmishes, sure. But not like before.
Nothing like peace, though stalemate of equal firepower. I’m sure Ukraine has many regrets! And a lesson for anyone watching in the world, what happens with Russia v Ukraine, and Pakistan v India.
Long term peace in the ME is going to involve 2 countries being nuclear armed, with Israel already being one.
