Does anyone have a ballpark current timeframe for app submission to interview date? And if you are not particular at all about equipment, what are the chances of a SAN base as a new-hire, and assuming SAN is senior(

) what's the next closest a junior FO may have a good chance at? And assuming flying-on-the-side is permitted with permission as I learned yesterday, what is a realistic expectation of how many days per month I would have free and clear (Line holder) to fly considering we only log around .8 per day on the corporate side gig I presently fly at...Thanks in advance, folks!
They will not allow you to fly your corporate gig on your days off. I tried this too and was shot down. Two reasons given were one, they electronically transmit times to the FAA about each pilot, and Skywest would have no way of transmitting your corporate info. Also, to them it's a liability due to the fact that you could make yourself illegal for a skywest flight at some point (especially during the winter when delays are heavy and block times go way up due to diverts/holds/etc.). SAN is very senior, and I'd say the chances of getting it as a new-hire are pretty much nil. If you get the jet, welcome to Milwaukee or Chicago. If you get the EMB, welcome to Fresno.
