I'm skeptical of a quick deal too, but I'd be surprised with how badly RG has been running things (not just in our opinion, in his bosses' opinions) if they're giving him free reign to do what he thinks is best. Because what he thinks is best has gotten us into this absolute disaster.
That's also why when I hear he thinks he can fix it on his own, it just doesn't pass the sniff test in my opinion. I think a lot of the decision will be out of his incompetent hands. Again, that's doesn't mean we're getting a quick deal, but I question how much leeway he has.
I don’t know. I would hope he is being watched very closely, but it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that his bosses are accepting his excuses for failure. Or that they will continue to let him run things into the ground until they decide to fire him.
