The feeling is mutual. I don’t care about the businessmen’s feelings. This job, just like everything in life is transactional. I’m giving you time, and my mad button pushing skillz for money and benefits. Then I want to go home and enjoy my family. That’s it.

Just flew with a fella. He flew a transcon. West to east. Got rerouted to do a leg with me. After a FOUR HOUR sit.

I said “how are you even legal?” He said “barely. We need to get going though because I took an extension and if I don’t, I won’t get my reroute pay.”

Wildly irresponsible. Homeboy then proceeded to give about 50% effort on the light radio work he had to do on the next leg. Because he’d been awake for God knows how long. But he was finna be rich if he did this leg.

The pure GREED of our group (and lack of tegridy) is what’s compensating for total mismanagement of the air line.

I say this as I am currently watching the entire screen light up with 1s/2s/3s for a 3 rotation QS call with a batch size of a trillion. Mind blowing.
