Some would obviously leave if the pay was reduced, but that is only a threat to the company if they can’t be replaced. If there are FO’s who meet the minimum qualifications for upgrade and a line of CFI’s looking for that first 121 job then senior captains leaving isn’t a problem. On the other hand if there are not qualified FO’s who can upgrade it would be a different matter. They don’t care about losing players if they can’t be replaced with cheaper ones.
