I completely disagree. It's clear the company is desperate. Look at the high-level personnel changes. Read the desperation in RG's emails. Hear the accusations lobbed on the pilot group by HT, et al. Even if the accelerated negotiations plan fails, ALPA can show they tried, they offered but it was the company who didn't want help. They cannot say we weren't serious and helpful partners. It destroys their narrative. ALPA's actions serve that purpose and sometimes you have to go through those motions even if you know the likelyhood of success is low. I, for one, am ok with the current plan and am willing to be patient and increase our ask on the long route.
