Btw, there is plenty of history of strikes who... were very determined... That didn't get PATCOd. NYC transportation unions and teachers in 2018 are the most recent examples I'm aware of. The Post Office also has a history of striking when they decide they need to.

I just can't never abide when people use PATCO as some kind of guarantee that will always happen for all future strikes. If they've gotten in your head that much, they've already won.

The USA has a long history of extremely hardcore and militant unionism. Some battles were lost, some were won. I agree we're losing the war right now, but it's not a lost cause

Speaking of which, just a couple days ago the LIRR train engineers went on strike and won 14.7% with 3 years of retro.
