Seems they like the young 20ish with minimum time. More trainable??? More moldable??? More likely to blindly do what they are told???? The only thing, in their defense, of not hiring someone with high time/experience is they will be gone as soon as Southwest, Air Trans or a better deal comes along. Let's face it the first 5 years of pay ain't the best. They are only here to keep up their flying skills. No intent for a long term relationship (I am assuming a long term relationship is a good thing.) How much does it cost to put someone through initial? Just my opinion.
