There is going to be something interesting happen when the 200 go away. First they have to furlough in senioity, the low guys are gone regardless of equiptment. Well 70% of the bottom 100 people fly the 400 so if they are going to fulough 100 people then there needs to be bunchof 200 to 400 training, likely in August. But now in the lowest 100 people there are 20 to 25 RJ pilots. They said that they are going to hang on to the RJ for a while to cover the earily MD80 retirements. If they do hold on to the Rj for a while longer and are going to furlough they will have to training from the 200 to Rj for just a few months then on to the 400. QX hates training cycles. So there could be some people getting some time off with pay while the RJ's slowly dwindle away. I could be wrong and the sun rises in the west but that is what I think COULD happen.

On another note, it is pretty sad that the airline "can't make any money" because every flight I have done in the last 3 days have been full. Also the AAG stock went up over 10% today.
Atleast I have my Jamba juice to drink and keep me refreshed.
