Like when you go deadheading from JFK to CMH to pick up a plane, and then deadhead to CVG because there is already an FO in CMH to work the flight, to then deadhead to ATL and then some out station that is not served thru CVG... only to operate one quick leg back to ATL and time out for the day. So lets say you spent 6 hours deadheading and 1 hour flying. That's only 5.5 hours of pay since we only get 75% pay for deadheads. And they enjoy using them.
