Jumpseat Problems
What are some options if the CASS system is down and the gate agent says you can't go. I asked if the captain could get me on without being CASS approved and the gate agent told me the captain can not bypass the requirement. I was not going to sit in the cockpit, there were cabin seats open. I asked if there was a number they could call and the agents told me there was not enough time, calling the number takes close to 30 minutes they said. Has this happened to anyone else before?
