NJ or the frax for that matter love retired airline guys. They come, work for 3-4 years, and before they upgrade and make the real money, they leave. What I hear, its cheaper to hire and train a new guy than to pay a guy captain's salary...
mswmsw, you have a good a chance. At 55 you might want to look at FX CS or XoJet, shorter upgrade than NJ. (if money is a factor)
