Something else that isnt being discussed is that DAL is now in on this and they do not want to waste NWA cash. More importantly the amount of time any NWA pilot would be furloughed would be VERY short with the new aircraft that are coming to both NWA/DAL. DAL is already planning on replacing some of the dc9s with 737s and rumored md90's. Either way the cost to furlough for probably less than a year would be more than to keep us on and actually maintain staffing levels. People are also still retiring and i assure you once the equity is established a large chunk of the "gummers" will probably punch out. Mgmt knows this and knows they cant really rely on these guys sticking around. My point is there are a lot of factors that point to No furloughs. Fingers crossed
