I also read a stat about AA and the age 65 rule. Right now, about 50% of their pilots are staying past 60. That could decrease based on their retirement package though. I was also told by an RAH guy that Bedford wrote in a company email that legacy carriers are profitbale at $100 oil. If we can get the price of oil to pop, maybe the good times will roll back in sooner than thought.

There's my semi-optimistic thought for the night.
Ok, I need to step away from the computer! $100.00 per barrel? Who is he kidding? He makes it sound so easy. "If we could just get the price to Pop." When his planes start flying on something other than Jet A, the price of the barrel might come down. We need to find ways to use less and be less dependant on oil.
