Then throw in the stuff that isn't here, like insurance, 401k matching, etc. In that respect they're identical to TSA and lower than many carriers.

Any airline negotiating right now (including TSA) has an awfully hard time increasing their compensation. Thus making it harder for any of us to make what we truely should.

As far as their 3000 hour requirement, that isn't hard to change. Hulas had no problem ponying up on insurance deductables for reduced mins when TSA needed captains. EP walked into my class with the memo and it was still warm from the copier.

BURflyer, maybe you should ask your captains how they felt about being stuck in the right seat, displaced and furloughed while GJ was hiring. Oh wait, it's happening again.
Well I truly think TSA will succeed in the end otherwise I'm assuming next year things could get interesting. I know TSA is one of the cheapest regionals to operate with more income while the pay at same time is the lowest so somethings got to give. But at the same time with all that's going on in the industry including gas prices it's going to be an uphill battle. As far as GJ, the standard now is the same as even before GJ came along, so I'm not sure how they're screwing everybody. They're not the problem. Now I'm really going to stop.
