This is the PERFECT example of why ALPA is NOT a union. It is an ASSOCIATION. There is no power and that is exemplified by the responses here. I am staunch union which is also meaning united (not the airline you tools) and this is embarrassing. There is no cohesion. None. If we all worked together and shut things down we would have power.

As for Teamsters, go for it. That union is a joke. I had to endure it until it was run out of town. They just want your money.....Kinda reminds of...

Jimmy Hoffa is dead. Quoting flying the line is dead. That era of aviation is gone. All that is left is a bunch of pilots that **** on each other only helping to deteriorate the industry.

It used to be that an airline pilot was a great job. Now we want distinction, Regionals, corporate, freight, different unions. We are better at one over another yada yada yada. That's why the industry has crumbled in the last 15 years.

Just read the posts. Judgemental rather than supportive.

What in the hell makes anyone feel entitled (regional guys) to support?

Go work for a living.
