Biannual: occurring twice a year, at least occurring to Merriam-Webster.
biannual - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary. If you did it last year it won't count. It's the same course but they have added a test at the end in addition to the questions at the end of each section.
Umm... if it would be twice a year, wouldn't that be semi-annual? Now, biennial means very two years. There is a difference between biannual and biennial.
Biannual, Biennial, Semiannual
"Biannual" and "semiannual" both mean "twice a year." "Biennial" means "every two years." Because of the possible confusion between "biannual" and "biennial," use "semiannual" when you want to describe something that occurs twice a year.
