That was the "Mesaba Syndrome", a term coined, if I recall, by Comair's loving CEO 2006-2007 - Don Bornhorst.
It was used as an incentive for the Comair workgroups to vote in concessionary contracts, as in: "if you don't take paycuts Delta will bring the Mesaba Syndrome to CVG"
Worked on the pilots and Mechs but not the FAs.
