At my last job, people would ask me the average age of the aircarft I fly. With a sad face, I had to say theywere older than my daughter... Now, when I am asked the same question, I am pleased as punch to say that the fleet is actually younger than my daughter... oh did I say... she's 23 years old. The average age of the aircraft I fly is slightly less than 5 years.

So I know the feeling... enjoy the smell of a new jet... just like a new car.
