I'm surely considering it. Either staying or getting out of this biz completely. The only viable places to leave here for are SouthWest, UPS, FEDEX, NetJets - Maybe and just Maybe Delta? That's a gamble. Or overseas - even that is a gamble and quite a big step for people with familys.
And, good luck getting hired at those above mentioned places..
I find that it's about 50/50 here at SKYW the guys that plan on staying..Once you establish some senority - your making a decent living - getting weekends and holidays off - why go someplace that's gonna take 4-7 years just to recoup lost wages AND be stapled to the bottom of a senority list that moves as slow as a snail....Pretty depressing state were in right now.
