Thanks. Just curious because Midwest Air is making 40% cuts and I am sure some of those cuts will affect SkyWest.

Its not the Midwest Management that is doing all this. It is TPG Capital and the consulting company they hired. So all these cuts are direct orders from TPG and the Aviation Consulting Firm.... This information that I am sharing comes from a good friend of mine in Midwest Management.... these are facts; he spends half his week in meetings, so he has some good info on what is going on there....

That's guaranteed but it will take a bit more than a complete lose of Midwest flying for SKW to put one pilot on the street. SKW is expecting a large reduction in Midwest flying, that's one of the many reasons why SKW has postponed their RJ New Hire and Transition classes in hopes that attrition will thin the ranks.
