ok. i just thought i read one of your guys post saying they had cut back on the rj deliveries, and that is why they were hiring to the pool instead of spooling up the training department like they thought they were going to do.

They haven't been cut back, some have been pushed back but I'm sure that mainline will want us to accelerated them in order to push some CR2's out the door.

As far as low morale.............the overwhelming majority of SKW pilot have good morale. It not great but it is good, to say it's not just shows how JR you are and how little you get around.

BTW go back in reread, I didn't call you any names, I just spoke about your harsh reality. Don't put words in my mouth.

AGAIN!!!!! No offense.
Take it easy on the guy. He's on here venting just like all of us. And although you might not mean any offense, you are being quite abrasive and I think your posts may indeed be slightly "offensive."

Good Day, best wishes and say hello to my good friend CG who is sitting reserve with you, who has a hire date of Nov 07 and has no clue when he'll be able to hold a line in ORD. But hey, that's life with the airlines so get used to it. There's an old saying that rings true...................."you only have three real choices in life.........Adapt....Move.....or Die." It's your life and therefore only your choice.

november 07...boo hoo he's on reserve............ WOW NOVEMBER 07... and complaining about being on reserve?

....You need to get off you selfish high horse and check your attitude at the door. You have a job with a very......very good airline that will do everything they can in order to not furlough. Just remember that, for your seniority, you are in the best possible position/situation you could be in right now......
JET JOCK, or, excuse please,,,, supehhh, numbahh wahn EMB CAPT--Why dont you (and others) give Washout a break. He's just venting. The industry SUCKS right now, and for him, there's no end in sight for his screwed commute and QOL.

You dont call him any specific names but you do sort of contradict yourself by telling him to not take it personally and then say he's selfish, on a high horse and to check his attitude. I dont think his post exuded an attitude. Yet, I do believe you sir, are exuding a pretty big attitude yourself; maybe layoff the PIC juice a little.

Furthermore, that's great (no, I'm not being sarcastic) that you think your airline is very, very good. But, the REALITY is that it's just a relatively well-run REGIONAL airline that could be greatly effected by the current and near-future events in a negative way.

There are so many people out there that are BUMMING right now. Instead of smacking someone in the face when they are venting, why not just listen, try to see it from their perspective, and maybe provide an alternative for them.

P.S. commuting to reserve sucks no matter how long you've been doing it.

All I can say is that I came to SKW from Eagle...I was on the CRJ. Crap schedule, RSV from day one with no end in sight, always flew with crabby pis*ed off pricks, constantly getting sh*t on by everyone within mgmnt. Luckily I bailed with in the first year. I am in a similar situation here at SKW...and by similar I mean only the RSV factor. Although I am on RSV again (have never had a line) you SKW folks that have never worked for another company don't know what bad is...this is far from bad.

On the line thing at ORD, my roommate is 10/07, and it looks like he is going to be able to hold a line next month. He has been stagnant about 7 or so from holding a line the last 3 months and now he is gonna bid 4 from the bottom. It gives me a little something to smile about, now I am only 12 away from a line when I have been 19 or 20 for months. Keep your chin up guys!

Your seniority says you are entitled to my line when you get here. You are welcome to it!

However, you will of course understand if I say PLEASE stay away until I am 10 from the bottom of the line holders though! HA HA HA!!!

You must be in class with my buddy KS. I hope you did well on the systems test this morning!
