So out of 300 furloughs 190 were never hired so Comair only needs to furlough 110 pilots?

Not true: I know I'm arguing symantecs here but I thought the memo said we would be reducing up to 300 pilots. If you have a slot that is no longer needed, that is a reduction in and of itself. When I worked in a different life, we also went through a "downsizing". But alot of people had already left and therefore, those vacancies that were never refilled were counted as part of the reduction.
Just a thought.....maybe a little glimmer of light.....maybe
So since 104 pilots quit since January, and Comair really only needs to furlough 110, then Comair really really only needs to furlough 6 pilots.
