A friend of mine, just the other day, ferried to DAY, ran an extra section to MKE, ran another extra section back to DAY, then ferried home. The passenger on each of the extra sections consisted of 1 UM.
Last week a F/A was telling me that if a connecting UM misses the last flight out, Delta can't just "comp" the minor a hotel room (think Tom Hanks' character in "Big"). Could this drive an extra flight? I'm just wondering...
