You slipped through the cracks then, my friend. If you look at the table in Section 13, it says you do not accrue longevity while on furlough.
Then they let everyone slip through who was furloughed in 2006. Look at the seniority list and everyone who was hired in the summer of 2005 has the same hire date and longevity date.
Maybe this was based on language from the old contract which was still in effect at the time.
