I'll correct you tjsatter......
The Centurion certificate has been around since 1985 under the name Challenge Cargo. "You may not be old enough to know that". Between 1995 and 1996 while Gemini was only a small freight forwarder (not even an airlline yet) Challenge flew their freight under a wet lease agreement. It was not until mid 1996 when Gemini received their first aircraft. Challenge was renamed Centurion in 1999 under new ownership.
Centurion, Cielos and MTA are all and managed under Alliance Management Group (AMC). The sole owner of the the three also has a minority business interest (money) in TAB airlines (Bolivian company) which we see at MIA. Total number of DC10's operated under AMC is Thirteen. The aircraft are all owned not leased.
Centurion went through a rough time in 2005 which is where the bad publicity comes from when "Gemini management" arrived on site to show Centurion how to run an airline. They let those idiots play for a year and finally gave them a send-off with their mere 9 years of airline experience.
Overall not a bad place to work. They are a small tight group and almost imposibble to get hired unless you know someone. I see their profile has not been updated. I can tell you from friends that fly there the new payscale is higher than Gemini.
As far as a match........ I think they are waiting for the fire sale at Gemini for two MD's. Two filings in 12 years / no assets...........Who's the Shiite-Hole?
