They need to do these spot checks on pilots? Give me a break.

Ultimately, 9-11 was caused not so much by box cutters and faux bombs, but by someone manipulating the flight controls. Hmmmm... what do pilots do?

So, maybe they should conduct spot psych exams instead?

The people (though I do not really consider them to be human beings) who are looking to do us harm have moved past the airlines, despite what some may think.

How about we do that to the TSA? I mean if anyone is an "insider" who could do harm, who better than someone from the TSA.
