Ain't that the truth! I've got a friend who finally got recalled to USAir (East). He had been doing well in real estate during the 5 year furlough. After a few months of flying around the A-120 he has asked for and received a 3 year LOA. Basically, he can make much more money building and selling homes with much more control over his schedule than he can flying. I doubt he'll ever go back. Perhaps when he can be captian but that's it.
