While some CSA agents probabaly go through security more time in a day than I do in a week. (I say some because at larger station the agents usually only work the ticket counter or the gate, not both.) You are way off base. Its the ramp workers that usaully have the best access but have the least oversight. Don't tell me I am wrong because I am not. I have sat in the cockpit at JFK and personally seen ramp workers/cleaners/fuelers etc pass though the turnstyle at the base of the terminal with ZERO screening. Meanwhile, I was almost give a full body search just to make it to the jetbridge. Don't even get me started on the catering guys. How often do you see a catering guy that is a natural born US citizen? Not very often I suspect. Most of these guys were citizens of a foreign country just a matter of weeks ago and somehow they manage to get a SIDA badge. Its not an isolated problem either.
The TSA is wasting money and resources by screening crews (in uniform) that are properly badged. When you go to a court house do the attorneys and judges get the same level of screening of everyone else entering the building? I think not.
