I have sat in the cockpit at JFK and personally seen ramp workers/cleaners/fuelers etc pass though the turnstyle at the base of the terminal with ZERO screening. The TSA is wasting money and resources by screening crews (in uniform) that are properly badged. When you go to a court house do the attorneys and judges get the same level of screening of everyone else entering the building? I think not.
Sorry again my friend but wrong again. You know, you can sit in the cockpit and personally see what you see but you are not seeing the big picture. Me, being a CSA(Lead at that) who works in an out station but also did TDY(temporary duty) at a hub knows first hand that your observation is false. Answer something for me, while in the flight deck, do you really have a front row seat to the SIDA door all day everyday? Not only do we(CSA) get screened walking into the SIDA area, but we sometimes get screened walking out. Also, try getting screened while ON the ramp working flights. Not to mention the other TSA folks that decided to conduct other test(that I probably should not be specific with because it may be too close to being sensitive) on ramp agents. While I understand that TSA may be a pain in the @$$, please do not be fool or try to fool others into thinking that the CSA does not get screened because that my friend is FALSE.
