If you answered #2, you are logical
If you answered #1, you..well I cant say it.

(If you think all rampers get checked you are out of your mind)
My good sir, I'm not, nor have I yet said that I think TSA's approach to ramp personnel is appropriate or adequate relative to the risk, however please don't think that it would be difficult to make a perfect replica of a crew badge.

You or I could make a passable fake this afternoon; if we were so inclined we could probably make an excellent fake within a few days. If however we aimed to cause mass destruction and had thousands of dollars invested in intelligence and equipment I imagine we could, should and most certainly would make a fake that would be indistinguishable from a real ID. Others may think we are digressing, but I believe we are at the heart of this security line issue. As has been stated before: they (TSA) don't know us from Adam and a uniform and plastic ID should do very little to set their minds at ease. As long as the identification process is weak, screening must continue
