Suppose you get sick while you're on vacation (or @ home away from domicile) and were too sick to make it back in time for a scheduled 4-day trip. and then mid-way through your scheduled 4-day trip, you start feeling better and you fly (non-rev) back to your base, to possibly finish the rest of your trip/ be on call. Where in the contract does it say we can't non-rev while on a sick day??

Doesn't specifically say that in the contract, however it is in the employee handbook. Most airlines have this as a policy.

Flight Privileges

Employees who call in sick are not eligible for pass privileges while out. Misuse of this policy could result in loss or suspension of pass privileges and/or could lead to further disciplinary action up to and including termination.
