All reserves repeat after me...

12.B.5 A reserve pilot will be scheduled for at least one (1) set of three (3) and one (1) set of four (4) immovable days off in a bid period. A reserve pilot will not be junior manned on these days off and such days off will not be changed except by mutual agreement between the pilot and crew scheduling.

to put it a different way,

12.B.5 A reserve will not be junior manned on these days off...

or in other words,

12.B.5 A reserve will not be junior manned on these days off...

If you are on reserve you can not be scheduled for any duty on your GDOs (Unless you're picking up OT or EF). So if you are notified Saturday that you will be working on a GDO Tuesday, it is an illegal assignment. It doesn't matter if there are a dozen reserves or zero. Even if you're the only available reserve pilot in the whole company, it doesn't make an illegal assignment any more legal.

On the other hand - If for some reason during a trip you can not get back on your last reserve day (MX, timed out, missed DH connection, etc) then sched can get you back to domicile on your GDO, pay you premium for the day, and replace your day off.

Reserves can not be JMed on a GDO.
