Nothing new. IBT has reduced the F/A furlough numbers to 150-175, with the possibility of even lower when the latest voluntary program closes. ALPA still has not brought anything to the table in terms of reducing the number of furloughs.
Newguy claims we never turned down a United offer and one is still out there on the table somewhere in the future.
Gas has come down, but we are still losing our flying (no shock there.)
Freedom will pick up close to 35-40 flights per day out of CVG with the reduction of Chautauqua, in addition to their expansion (and our reduction) out of JFK.
Even with the massive reduction in JFK, it will not close as a base.
Delta is looking at closing Concourse C in CVG and moving all RJ operations to A and B, although that is only a slight possibility at the moment. Can anyone say post-merger CVG shutdown?
