My thought is that they are still somewhat hopeful that we will get some flying, after all Comair is the reserve airline. If they complete training then they wont have to go through all of it over again the next time around. Allows them to ramp everything up quicker. Maybe?
I think what most are trying to get at here is the fact that these guys need to get 100 hours withing the first 120 days, or they would be required to start training over from day 1 of indoc. I don't think it looks good that we would get any flying within the 120 days to save those guys, but stranger things have happened.
