This is not the military, where the "mission" must be continued at all costs. There is no "greater good" in the airline industry, only greedy execs who will manipulate you, and pit you against your fellow pilots to make more money. Don't be a wh0re.

We should be taking care of our fellow pilots first. Anyone who picks up overtime while guys are on the street is a scumbag. Management is not your friend, we should be trying to protect ourselves--NOT "the mission" which DOES NOT EXIST IN THIS INDUSTRY.

That's the way it is. If you can't handle that, go back (or stay) on active duty. But don't stay here and pollute the industry with your sense of "duty."

Look at it this way: Every two weeks, you get paid--and you and the company are "even." You are not "on the clock" 24-7 like you are in the military; know the contract and fly the contract. The end.
