The 4 hour break in MEM isn't that bad. They have TV and some recliners. It's also pretty quiet.

I always slept on the floor in the DC/MD-10, which is probably what you'll be on from MEM-OAK. There's plenty of space and it's more comfortable than one would expect.

I used them often due to the ease. A bird in the hand...

Is B-rad still going with you? I'm jealous. I could use a little West Coast time.

Confirmdat is absolutely right, the Fed-Ex guys are always super friendly. They will go out of their way to help you find your way around and get comfortable.
