While I'm happy to have the NWA guys on the same page I'm dissapointed the MECs chose to bow to the company's timeline and rush this thing. Seems like they were so hell-bent on avoiding the US Air scenario that they gave away the farm to me. We should have insisted on a LOA 19 equivalent for NWA or a 1 year transition JPWA and took the opportunity to open DL's Section 6 a little early and rework the whole thing while we had the leverage. It's pretty pathetic for DL guys when you look at how quickly our compensation dissapeared and how long it takes to get a small portion of it back (very small if indexed for inflation). I was hoping for much more meaningful gains in the contract amenable at DL next year, in a most likely better economy. Standing by for huge management bonuses and money coming out of the woodwork for everyone but us.
