Yes, it would have helped big time in terms of furloughs and displacements, but holy cow our operation right now and the past few months blows. I sometimes feel bad for the people that have to fly on us. There is absolutely no excuse to cancel a flight because scheduling did not notify the CA of a flight he was suppose to operate. So, Comair cancels the flight, passengers are re-routed or even stranded, while Comair ferries an empty airplane to its next assignment. I have never seen so many -CX-'s and 9000 flights numbers at the Dep/Arr. report at the end of the releases as in the last few months. Like I said earlier, just give the damn planes to SkyWest or Pinnacle and be done with it, they have a scheduling systems that works and a fairly efficient operation. Comair is just embarrassing...
