Because GoJet is arguably a crappy regional with a crappy history, you pick on them, diverting attention from the real problem...that all regionals suck. 1) Unless you've worked at my airline, you've got no grounds to say "it sucks", that's nothing more than generalizing based on your experience or lack of it. We have a leading industry contract, compensation better than most 70 seat operators (and we only fly 50 seaters), work rules and soft money above most. I truly enjoy working at my company, and nothing really sucks about it, other than the occassional bottom of the barrel feeder trying to under cut us.
2) You should care, your future in this industry might be in our hands. Besides, it's not just the regional airline pilots you should be concerned with, aviation is a very small world.
3) People make choices that often have a negative impact on their lives, isn't that what this thread is all about?
