The press releases on the Concourse C closure sound like they are implying that Delta Connection flights will run out of both Concourses A and B, not just A. This would make sense since CVG's largest banks only include around 15 mainline aircraft now. Pathetic. They could park mainline on B and that would still leave about half of the concourse empty. By boosting the number of gates on A from 22 to 30, and on B from 26 to 38, that should leave at least 50 gates for DCI to operate out of. But since the project is supposed to take 2-3 years, they will apparently in the meantime park some DCI on hardstands with bus service to/from the terminal.
