Ok so we find ourselves overstaffed on the Saab as needed to have so many in the training pipeline. Fine I get that. Rather than do a massive messy realignment they release the locks. Yes it screws me but I get it... Now again backfilling Saab spots (just like pre Feb 08) they are still releasing the locks, NOT like pre Feb 08. They changed the rules mid stream. Yes that keeps me stuck near the bottom of the list. Again not a big deal because I figured even if the locks stayed on there wouldn't be that many people junior to me that would have taken the upgrade before bottoming out the list and basically releasing the seatlocks anyway. But it probably would have put enough below me to at least get me a build up line (BIG pay difference guys). Not to mention my biggest peeve, reinstating the ready reserve usage that hadn't been done since 2003. That was not announced and able to be made part of the decision making. That would have made a BIG difference to me, I can live with reserve in base, been doing that most of my flying career one way or another. The ready reserve is complete B.S!
