DS. I was wondering why we lost the 900's? Could it have something to do with the fact that after we were awarded these a/c eMaestro crashed 3 times within a week? Maybe eMaestro isn't exactly ready yet?
Just two weeks ago this board was alive with pilots crying that the union shouldn't be focused on eMaestro...the union should only be working to prevent furloughs.
Of course those comments all came from those who did not witness firsthand the scheduling meltdown during Christmas of 2004.
If you can't schedule, you can't run an airline. We can't say for certain that Comair's history of failing to invest in infrastructure and competent IT personnel, and haphazard implementation when they do, was the reason thsoe airframes are not coming here.
Then again, we can't say for certain it wasn't.
Kudos to the MEC for continuing to work on a resolution on the eMaestro debacle during trying times. Fortunately they understand that without a solid infrastructure, none of us will be employed by Comair.
