sounds to me like after the merger the companies will be very integrated with separate pilots and maintenance. If this is the case and any one of the FA, Mech., or pilot unions feel like it they could probably ask the courts to force a merger under a single carrier petition. Netjets pilots did this with Netjets international because management and scheduling and such were the same but the pilots were different. Netjets pilots won and soon will be entitled to Netjets international slots.
